Burton A. Brown opened his first office in the Chicago Loop over 45 years ago. As a young attorney, Burt’s practice focused primarily on criminal felony defense. After 10 successful years, Burt expanded his firm both physically and in terms of practice areas.
In 2017, Burt opened a second office, located in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles, Illinois, and ventured into additional areas of law such as estate planning and probate. Over the next years, the firm continued to grow, most recently adding veterans rights, data privacy, and cybersecurity to its areas of practice.
Today, our headquarters are in the heart of the Loop business district, at 161 N. Clark Street, Suite 1600, Chicago, IL 60601. Our suburban office is located at 4N645 School Road, St. Charles, IL 60175.

Burt works to raise money for Misericordia, and bluegrass band played concerts for charity for over 10 years.
For over 15 years, Burt has worked on fundraising for the Knights' "Tootsie Roll" drives in St. Charles.
Through this nonprofit, Burt and Bill provide local veterans with VA Benefits eligibility and claims information.
