Burton A. Brown opened his first office in the Chicago Loop over 45 years ago. As a young attorney, Burt’s practice focused primarily on criminal felony defense. After 10 successful years, Burt expanded his firm both physically and in terms of practice areas.
In 2017, Burt opened a second office in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles, Illinois, and expanded into additional areas of law, including estate planning and probate. Over the next few years, the firm continued to grow, most recently adding data privacy and cybersecurity to its practice areas.

Burt works to raise money for Misericordia, and bluegrass band played concerts for charity for over 10 years.
For over 15 years, Burt has worked on fundraising for the Knights' "Tootsie Roll" drives in St. Charles.
Through this nonprofit, Burt and Bill provide local veterans with VA Benefits eligibility and claims information.
